Shipwreck

Sometimes the wind blows my way, and I'm left in the middle of the ocean waiting for something to bring me home. I'm so sick of being alone, the water beneath my feet becomes a mirror, and I see my reflection.
I see beneath my feet, underneath the sea, a sunken ship, sunken by the weight of its gold.
Greed got the best of them.
But the water drowns their voice.
Their bones are gathered by them all, they will sharpen them and use them to defend themselves, (against the ones that haunt them), against the sailors that hunt them.
Their brothers are searching for them (they'll never find them). They don't know how ironic it is.
They need to break the bones of all the ones they love, all the ones they were looking for, but they were swallowed by the ocean tide. Their gold meant more than growing old.
They will never rest in peace, always watching from the bottom of the sea.
Always yelling their regrets. But the water drowns their voice.
